During the late 1980's and early 1990's, Long Beach Poly High School was surrounded by explosive gang violence that has been recorded as one of the bloodiest gang wars in U.S. history. The violence erupted within a section of the City, where once childhood friends and family thrived, but without an external enemy chose to fight amongst themselves in a senseless war over a landscape neither owned.
